ABOUT OKTOBERFEST

Oktoberfest Muskoka is a music, culinary and beer festival that takes place each October in participating breweries and restaurants across Muskoka! Plenty to explore and experience in the area!

 

Breweries offer tours and partner with local chefs, retail vendors, food trucks, etc., to pair their beer with locally sourced products, ingredients, and menus.

Throughout the festival, restaurants will offer traditional Oktoberfest fare such as Roast Chicken, Sausages, Pretzels, Dumplings, Potato Pancakes, Sauerkraut, Spätzle, etc. Chefs and eateries will be encouraged to put a Muskoka ‘spin’ on the dishes, incorporating locally sourced ingredients such as cranberries, maple, and shiitake mushrooms.

Each night, musicians and entertainers perform in participating restaurants and breweries to enhance and attract visitors to these venues.

Oktoberfest Muskoka is a collaborative Muskoka-wide event organized by the Muskoka Lakes Chamber of Commerce. With incredible support from Lake of Bays Brewery, Muskoka Brewery, Sawdust City Brewing, Clear Lake Brewing, Engel & Volkers Muskoka, TD, and our Oktoberfest mentors in Kitchener-Waterloo!
